We are now in the second year since the creation of
the Sacred Science Translation Society and are
pleased to announce that we have already completed
the translation of the following seven works:
- Hans Kayser - Textbook of Harmonics (released August, 2006)
- Petrus Talemarianus - Natural Architecture (released February, 2008)
- Eberhard Wortmann - Law of the Cosmos, The
Divine Harmony According to Plato's
Republic/Timaeus: The Platonic Riddle of Numbers
Newly Solved and Illustrated.
- Saint-Yves D'Alveydre - The Archeometer: Key
To All The Religions & Sciences Of Antiquity (Volume 1, Source Text, Volume 2, The Musical
Archeometer, Plus 60 pages of elaboration from
the magazine La Gnose 1909-1912, &
Including 5 scholarly articles from the last century)
- Hans Kayser - Paestum: The Nomoi of Three
Ancient Greek Temples at Paestum
- Hans Kayser - The Harmonic Division
Canon
- Hans Kayser - Harmonia Plantarum (almost finished)
Thus far, we have only released Kayser's Textbook and the Natural Architecture in our
hardcover, print on demand editions, mostly due to the
complex nature of these texts, with their numerous
diagrams and technical details, which still need
further work and minor corrections. We intend, in time,
to re-release these two works in high-quality, folio,
collector's editions, however, before we can do this,
we must complete the translation of the musical
notation in Kayser's Textbook, from German to
English notation, and produce even higher quality
diagrams to help clarify the small text present in the
originals. When this is complete, and the new editions
are published, all purchasers of the current
Translation Society editions will be given the
opportunity to upgrade to the new editions for a
marginal fee to cover the printing costs of the new
edition. This allows us to release this important
material immediately for those anxious to begin
studying it, while also providing them with a collector's
edition, when complete, at a cost less than the final
edition is expected to be for those who wait.
We sincerely hope that this process will encourage
people to subscribe to the Translation Society now,
rather than waiting for the final editions, since it will
save them money in the end, and provide them with
the material immediately. Subscribers receive a 30%
discount off of the standard retail price, and agree to
purchase at least 3 consecutive releases. Currently,
we have only about 40 subscribers to the Translation
Society, which causes the work to progress more
slowly than we would like, due to the lack of interest
and support. We hope, as more people become
aware of these excellent works, and of the quality of
translation accomplished by Ariel & Joscelyn Godwin,
to steadily build a larger subscriber list, which would
allow us to work more quickly and to produce much
better quality books. However, in the mean time, we
do plan to begin releasing our next titles only in the
new collector's format, since these works do not
present the technical difficulties of the first 2 texts.
